To restore the foundations of society through the love, teaching, and healing power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To set the World on Fire for Christ!
On December 6, 2016, God woke Pastor J.L. Alston with the vision for World on Fire Global Ministries. Just a few weeks later, on December 25, a trusted messenger of the Lord confirmed from the pulpit that they had been chosen to bring forth a ministry. At the same time, God spoke clearly that they were to move to Memphis, and in obedience, they moved swiftly to establish the work.
On July 22, 2018, World on Fire Global Ministries held its very first service in a hair salon with just four members. In that season, God began to reveal the purpose of the ministry through undeniable evidence of His power in healing and deliverance, fulfilling the Word: “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17–18).
God allowed WOFGM to grow and flourish throughout its season in Memphis. Then, in 2025, the Lord gave the command to expand to the Dallas–Fort Worth area. In obedience, the ministry answered the call, giving birth to WOFGM–Texas.
Pastor JL Alston & Lady Sheniece Alston
Born in Monticello, NY, Pastor JL Alston grew up in a Christ-centered home where faith and family were inseparable. From a young age, he felt God’s call on his life and answered with a heart eager to serve. After his father’s passing in 2015, Pastor JL, with the love and steadfast presence of his wife, Lady Sheniece Alston, fully surrendered his life to God and has never looked back, dedicating himself to ministry with unwavering devotion. Ordained as an Elder, he is committed to preaching God’s Word, restoring lives, and empowering individuals to walk in their God-given purpose.
Known for his compassion, authenticity, and passion for seeing people thrive, Pastor JL believes ministry is about teaching and leading people to Christ, bringing them out of darkness, and demonstrating God’s power through healing and deliverance. It’s about seeing lives transformed and families united, living out the community and unity of Acts 2. Together, he and his wife, invest deeply in the spiritual and practical growth of those they serve, cultivating a community where faith, love, and purpose intersect.
He believes faith should touch every part of life and seeks to live that out in all he does. Guided by Isaiah 58:12, his vision is to see lives restored, communities strengthened, and generations built on the firm foundation of Christ.

The One True God exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God the Father is a spiritual being without a physical body. He is omnipresent and personal. He created the universe out of nothing and is eternal, unchanging, holy, loving, and perfect. He has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM” and further made Himself known as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10; Isaiah 11; Matthew 28:19).
Jesus is God, the second person of the Trinity. As God the Son, he has always existed and was never created. He is both fully God and fully man, with two natures united but not blended. As the second person of the Trinity, he is equal with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. When he became man, he was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus is the only way to the Father, to salvation, and to eternal life. He died on the cross according to God’s plan as the complete sacrifice and payment for our sins. On the third day, he rose from the dead, both spiritually and physically, never to die again. For 40 days, he appeared to more than 500 witnesses. His wounds were touched, and he ate with others. He then physically ascended into heaven. At the end of the world, Jesus will return visibly and physically to establish God’s kingdom and to judge the world.
The Holy Spirit is God, the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is a person, not a force or energy. He comforts, grieves, reproves, convicts, guides, teaches, and fills believers. He is neither the Father nor the Son, Jesus Christ.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reascn (2 Timothy 3:15, 2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Peter 2:2)
Conditions of Salvation. The grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ; the washing of regeneration and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, and being justified by hope of eternal life (Titus 2:11, Romans 10:13-15, Luke 24:47, Titus 3:5-7).
Evidence of salvation. The inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness.
Baptism in water. The ordinance of baptism by a burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the scriptures by all who have repented and believed in Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they have the body washed in pure water as an outward symbol of cleansing, while their heart has already been sprinkled with the blood of Christ as in inner cleansing. They declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and been raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Matthew 28:19, Acts 10:47, Acts 4:8, Romans 6:4, Acts 20:21, Hebrews 10:22).
The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the spirit with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the spirit, is an integral part of the church, which is written in heaven (Ephesians 1:22, Ephesians 1:23, Ephesians 2:22, Hebrews 12:23).
Believers go to be with Jesus. After Death, all people await the final judgment. Both the saved and lost will be resurrected. Those who are saved will live with Jesus in Heaven. Those who are lost will suffer the torment of eternal separation from God in hell.
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17–18).
